It was the late, great Gerald Levert that gave Brandon Howard his first opportunity at recording as a producer. That chance coupled with hard work, determination and an undeniable musical talent has sparked a promising career for B. Howard.

At the age of 6, he learned the fundamentals of percussion and later, he taught himself how to play keyboard. Now the 20-something, Grammy nominated, recording artist, producer, singer and songwriter is gaining international notoriety with his singles, Supermodel and Dancefloor, as he prepares to release his album, Genesis.

New Music Monday :: @BHowardGenesis “Dancefloor”

International pop star, producer, singer and songwriter, B. Howard, is doing the most with the visuals for his second single from his debut album, Genesis. The video opens with an homage to Michael Jackson’s Thriller, and continues with a great tribute to the King of Pop. The track is produced by James Poyser, Questlove and Benjamin Wright.

B. Howard’s name is not new to the industry, he’s collaborated with Ne-Yo, Chris Brown, Missy Elliott, Ginuwine, Trey Songz, Dru Hill, Jay Sean, Marques Houston, The Levert’s, Lupe Fiasco and one of his mentors, the incomparable Chaka Khan.

As much as he is influenced by the King of Pop, his mother, Miki Howard, a number one recording artist from the 1990’s, his grandmother, Josephine Howard, a member of the Rock and Rall Hall of Fame inducted group the “Caravans,” and his close relationship with the legendary Jackson family, has largely motivated the artist bound to take the industry by storm, it’s in his blood.
