This evening in Tennessee, the International Black Film Festival Nashville’s pre-kick off “Faith in Film Series” event will be held at Vanderbilt University. As an official selection in many film festivals and in line with what is taking place this week locally, I wanted to share the 15 minute short film, “This Time,” which is written by Reagan Gomez and directed by Matthew Cherry.
The plot focuses on the effects of war for soldiers and the families that await their return at home. Starring Reagan Gomez, Terri J. Vaughn, Sinorice Moss and Michael Moss, the film is dedicated to “the men and women who have given their lives to protect our country. And their family members with whom their memory lives on” (source YouTube).
