Tyrese has a new video and it features Academy Award nominee and From the Rough star, Taraji P. Henson. This is not the first time the duo has taken the screen together, they’re infamous for their portrayals as Jody and Yvette in Baby Boy…
Not to mention their coupling on award shows or that steamy photo shoot they did for Ebony Magazine a few months ago…
…It’s no secret that Henson would star in the official visual for Stay, the first single from Tyrese’s new album, Open Invitation, which is scheduled to hit stores on November 11, the trailer preceded this Matt Alonzo directed video earlier last week.
What do you think about Tyrese’s Stay?
Last night the 63rd Annual Emmy Awards were held in Los Angeles, California and a number of celebrities came out in their designers best for the ‘Biggest night in Television.’
Although, none of The Queen’s Castle’s favorite left with an Emmy, they surely dressed for the occasion and helped make the red carpet look good!
We were rooting for Taraji, Idris and/or Laurence Fishburne to take home an award! All three were nominated, but none of them one in their respective categories.
Taraji was actually part of the show, singing as part of an ensemble, which at one point had a cameo appearance by Legendary Rapper / Actor, L.L. Cool J!
Jurnee Smollett makes me smile, she’s always so poised! Flawless, love the shoes!
Glee’s Amber Riley works her gown, love the jeweled accents on her shoulders!
Double Nominee Idris Elba posted this picture of himself on FaceBook! Do you need to see the rest?

Letoya Luckett’s loyal fans stood outside in the rain for a chance to get an autograph and picture from their favorite singer, actor and entrepreneur. Not only is Luckett one-fourth of the original multi-platinum selling group, Destiny’s Child, she is the owner of two boutiques in Houston, Texas and the face of Luster’s Pink Smooth Touch. Today she was in Nashville at Dollar General to promote the product while giving away prizes, gift cards and other goodies to fans.
During her visit, Luckett wanted The Queen’s Castle’s readers to know that she’s planning to release her third solo effort at the top of the year. LeToya is also making her way back to the big screen in the film, From The Rough, which stars Oscar nominee, Taraji P. Henson in the role of Catana Stark, who became the first women to ever coach a college men’s golf team at Tennessee State University. Luckett plays the role of “Stacey,” and we’re told she “gives a tough but vulnerable performance that will thrill her fans around the globe.” LeToya will be joined on-screen by Oscar nominee, Micheal Clark Duncan (The Green Mile) and Tom Felton (Harry Potter). While in Detroit a few weeks ago, LeToya encouraged event goers to support the albums that were recently released by her former Destiny’s Child members, Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland. The Queen’s Castle wanted to know if she in fact owned those albums, and if so, what were her favorite songs from each offering. LeToya says, “I have both albums and they are amazing, you should go out and support as well.” She also told us that her favorite song from 4 is Beyoncé’s, I Miss You, she’s also rocking to Kelly’s Motivation, and said her other favorite from Here I Am is Feeling Me Right Now.
For two hours through rain showers and on one of the hottest, humid days in Nashville, Tennessee, LeToya was all smiles for her fans, she made sure every person in attendance that wanted a photo and autograph received one, true royalty with a “Smooth Touch” indeed!

Congratulations to 63rd Primetime Emmy Award Nominees @IdrisElba @TheRealTaraji & Laurence Fishburne
The nominations for the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards were announced today, and Idris Elba, Taraji P. Henson and Laurence Fishburne each received nods from the academy.
Idris Elba was nominated for his show, Luther, which airs on the BBC Two. He’s experiencing a great run, December 2010, he was nominated for a Golden Globe, and this year, season two premiered to 5.6 million viewers [source]. Luther is nominated in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie category, as is Laurence Fishburne for his portrayal of Supreme Court Justice, Thurgood Marshall.
Fishburne received rave reviews for his role in the movie, Thurgood, which aired on HBO. The New York Times said, “At every point Mr. Fishburne conveys the essence of a man who seemed to enjoy his life deeply, a man who savored his accomplishments with none of the grandiosity that so often afflicts the exceptional.”
Taraji P. Henson received the nod for her portrayal of Tiffany Rubin, a school teacher who’s son was abducted by her estranged husband. You can read more about the Lifetime movie, in an earlier article on The Queen’s Castle. Nominated in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Movie category Taken From Me: The Tiffany Rubin Story aired January 2011.
That Lead Male category is going to be tight, but we absolutely wish Taraji, Idris and Laurence the best of luck! View the full list of nominees, here.
@TheRealTaraji Stars in “Taken From Me: The Tiffany Rubin Story”
Taraji P. Henson will star as Tiffany Rubin in the Lifetime movie, Taken From Me: The Tiffany Rubin Story.
In 2008, Tiffany Rubin was a public school teacher in Queens, when her son was abducted by her ex-husband and taken to Korea, more below:
Tiffany Rubin’s seven year old son Kobe Lee was abducted by her ex-boyfriend Jeffrey Salko, on August 21, 2008. The two shared custody of the boy. Facing up to six months in jail for failure to pay child support, Salko allegedly abducted the child and returned to his native country of South Korea. Through Rubin’s MySpace page, she received an anonymous tip from a person claiming to know exactly where her son was, and where he was going to school. With this information, and the help of the American Association for Lost Children Inc., Rubin flew to South Korea, went into Kobe’s classroom and asked the teacher if she could speak to Kobe. Rubin took him into the hallway, and disguised the child in a wig, so that they could leave the building. The immediately sought shelter at the U.S. Embassy until they could return to the U.S. Source
Taken From Me: The Tiffany Rubin Story is scheduled to premier January 31, 2011 at 8 PM.
