Fearless Magazine marks it’s one year anniversary with the release of the ‘Fearless Class of 2011’ cover featuring the hottest actors and actresses on television today.
House of Payne’s Keisha Knight-Pulliam and Lance Gross; Hosea Chanchez and Coby Bell from The Game; Annie Ilonzeh from the recently cancelled, Charlie’s Angels; Joyful Drake who stars on Let’s Stay Together, and her new cast mate, Christian Keyes.
The mag’s publisher, Arian Simone says, “This issue encompasses so much of the word Fearless. It seamlessly sets the tone of thanksgiving, humility and expectation as we celebrate our one-year anniversary.”
“Fearless what that means to me, knowing your enough, when you know in your heart and your mind that you’re enough you’re fearless. It’s not just a magazine, it’s a lifestyle, right? So embrace that — I am fearless!” - Annie Ilonzeh
I love that quote! ;)

Uptown Magazine, selected former Falcons player Michael Vick to cover their October/November 2011 issue.
The Philadelphia Eagles $100 million dollar man discusses signing with his new team, playing the game of football, the reaction from fans when he returned to play against the Atlanta Falcons and his road to redemption.
He took one of the hardest hits of the season before he played against Atlanta this past September. For Vick, it may have been good to be home, but they lost the game, 35-31. If he’s going to be effective and reach the next level of his game, the Eagles will have to get their defensive line to work harder at covering him. Period.

On signing with the Philadelphia Eagles…
I never thought this day would come. [Two years ago], I was happy just to be on a team. When I was in prison, I prayed for another opportunity. And when I signed with the Eagles, that opportunity had come. I was ecstatic at that point, and I’m even happier now.
On taking precautions during the game…
I play the game the way I know how to play it. You have to take precautions, but this is what I love to do. I want to be there for my team and do what I have to do as a quarterback to be successful.
On the fans reaction when he returned to play the Falcons as an Eagle…
It was awesome. When I was running out onto the field I was listening to see what the reaction was going to be, I was very pleased. I really didn’t expect that reaction, but I was very thankful.
Where he is and where he wants to go…
I am determined to become a better student of the game and I knew I had to work at it. I was young when I was in Atlanta. I’m older now. I’ve been through a lot and I think I’ve matured. I had some good years there, but I’m just so thankful to be in Philadelphia right now. I could not have landed in a better city. This is my home. This is where I want to be, and I take this opportunity seriously.

If the singles that have hit the internet are any indication of what we can expect from the Queen of Hip Hop Soul’s tenth studio album, My Life II: The Journey Continues (Act 1), Mary J. Blige is returning to her roots by employing cameos from some of the hottest rappers in the game.
Yesterday, Queen Mary headed to Teen Nick’s Halo Awards to perform, but not before her single Mr. Wrong, which features a cameo from Drake hit the airwaves on Angie Martinez’s, Hot 97 radio show.
This morning, it was surprising to learn that DJ Clue also debuted another single from Mary’s upcoming album. Maybach Music’s King, the Boss Rick Ross, who’s currently recovering from multiple strokes, adds his 16 bars to Why?

After a pushed back world premiere, today 106 and Park, dropped Beyoncé’s official visual for Party, the single that now features Roc-Nation newbie, J. Cole.
Directed by Beyoncé, the official visual for the Kanye West produced track was shot in New Jersey this past August and is packed with vivid, colorful images. I’ve had an appreciation for pinwheels since childhood! LOL!!
So who does Beyoncé bring to her back yard BBQ/block party? We see Auntie-to-be Solange Knowles made it to the party along with former Destiny’s Child band mate, Kelly Rowland…
…and J. Cole stands in for Andre 3000 on the remixed single and video. Politics.
Doesn’t this one just make you want to Party?!
Did you know Day 26, the boy band that we were introduced to through Diddy’s popular reality show Makin’ the Band, is making a comeback? No longer with Bad Boy, the R&B group comprised of the collective voices that belong to Robert, Brian, Willie, and Michael, minus original member, Qwanell “Anthony Q” Mosley, has landed with Atlantic Records.
Today they released the melodic, Made Love Lately. It’s so remnant of the sound from yesteryear that we’ve grown to love. On the Jim Beanz produced track with a grown and sexy bump, Day 26 sings in harmonies that make you think of Jodeci or Dru Hill.
“I just began to experiment you, baby I think I found the formula. There so much energy I feel the chemistry between us. From your reaction I see the passion, this whole experience is something new. Long as I serve my purpose wanna be of service to you….”
Day 26 is returning to the same formula that catapulted them to the limelight and have also released the trailer for their web series, aptly titled A New Day.

R&B’s one and only ‘Miss Thang’ released the official visual for her single Until It’s Gone starring Brian White and Malinda Williams.
In an emotional video that aligns with the lyrics of the song, currently increasing spins on urban radio, the theme of the video forces the viewer to take into account the consequences of cheating and distractions as well as what really matters in life…
Until It’s Gone is from Monica’s upcoming album, New Life, which is slated to hit shelves later this year; the video debuted on 106 & Park yesterday.
Monica’s earlier single, Anything (To Find You), which features Rick Ross and Missy Elliot is also expected to be featured on her new album.

Not bad at all for the second single out the gate. It’s been a minute, but the industry needs Monica. I’m ready for her New Life, are you?
X-Factor judge, Kelly Rowland, gave Glamour UK an exclusive look at the fashion choices she’s made for her appearances on the UK television show.
In designer garments from Falguni & Shane, Azzedine Alaia, Julien MacDonald and Todd Lynn among others, for each outfit, Kelly gives an inside look into how she decided what to wear!
In this spectacular Roberto Cavalli that she wore to open the season, Kelly shares, “…as soon as the zip was done up, I knew it was the one. I felt like a Princess! I felt extremely comfortable and oh-so-sexy. The embellishment was just divine. Mr Cavalli sure knows how to make a girl feel absolutely sexy because the slit was in the most perfect place and it hugged my body just right. Thank you Mr Cavalli. x”
While she confesses that many of the dresses were selected at the last minute, Kelly’s choices were based on her admiration of the designer’s work or just sheer love for the piece.
Rowland wears it well, some of the dresses were tailored to fit her body perfectly…
…like this hot leather mini dress by Topshop…
“After looking at rails and rails of dresses, I just absolutely loved this leather one. I took it home with me and had it altered slightly (to fit my body perfectly) and although it was super fab after the alteration, I still felt that there was something missing, a belt. A few days later I went to Harvey Nichols with my stylists and we found a fab Azzedine Alaia belt which worked perfectly with the dress. When it all came together on Saturday night, I loved it even more! :)”

Morehouse man, Mateo is preparing to release another collaborative EP with multi-Grammy Award winning producer Kerry “Krucial” Brothers. His earlier offering, Love & Stadiums, gave birth to one of my favorite collaborations with Goapele and Ab Liva, Please Don’t Shoot Me Down.
The 24-year old King is back with his first studio release and another collaboration, this time featuring Alicia Keys and her hubby, Swizz Beatz.
Brothers got Keys to lay her vocals on the track during a recent studio session. Check out Mateo’s new single Say Its So below…
Since the Love & Stadiums release, Mateo has been doing his thing. The other day, he and Dawn Richard, who’s also in pursuit of her solo career, took a break from Diddy’s Dirty Money to wow the crowd with Mateo in California at the famed Roxy Theater.
